White Russian Pudding Shots Recipe
Mmmm pudding shots! If you are looking for something that is a boozy cross between a dessert and a jello shot, pudding shots are for you! Easy to make, pudding shots are a great “adult” pudding recipe.
Notes:
● I listed Cool Whip which is a brand name. You can use another brand of imitation whipped topping if you like.
● This recipe used Jello instant pudding, but you can use any instant pudding brand.
● Whipped cream vodka is yum! Pinnacle, Smirnoff, Burnett’s, etc all make one. My most popular blog co*cktail, Orange Creamsicle co*cktail Recipe also uses it!
White Russian Pudding Shots Ingredients:
● 3 oz box Chocolate Instant Pudding Mix (or Chocolate Fudge)
● 3 oz box Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
● 2 cups Cold Milk, divided
● ½ cup Kahlua Liqueur
● 8 oz tub Imitation Whipped Topping, divided (Cool Whip)
● ½ cup Whipped Cream Vodka
● Whipped Cream, for garnish
● Chocolate Bar, for garnish
White Russian Pudding Shots Mise en Place:
● 18 (2.5 oz) plastic pudding shot cups with lids if transporting
● Measuring Spoons
● Measuring Cup
● Bowl
● Spatula
● Whisk
● Cutting Board
● Knife
White Russsian Pudding Shots Directions:
● Place 18 pudding shot cups on a large baking sheet.
● Pour the contents of one small (3oz) box of instant chocolate pudding mix into a medium mixing bowl.
● Add 1 cup cold milk to the instant chocolate pudding, and whisk until smooth and creamy.
● Stir in ½ cup of Kahlua and mix well to incorporate.
● Fold in 4 ounces (half the tub) of whipped topping and stir until the pudding mixture is light and fluffy.
● Spoon the chocolate pudding into each plastic cup, filling halfway.
● Chill for 20 minutes.
● Pour the contents of one small box (3oz) of vanilla pudding mix into a medium mixing bowl.
● Add 1 cup of cold milk to the instant vanilla pudding, and whisk until smooth and creamy.
● Stir in ½ cup of whipped vodka and mix well.
● Add the remaining 4 ounces (half the tub) of whipped topping to the vanilla pudding mixture, and mix well.
● Spoon the vanilla pudding mixture onto the top of the chocolate pudding, filling each plastic cup up to the top.
● Chill for 30 minutes. If you are not serving the pudding shots immediately, you can place lids on the plastic cups and chill overnight.
● Before serving, add a dollop of whipped cream to the top of each white Russian pudding cup. Sprinkle chocolate shavings on top and ENJOY!!
