Everything about the meal was delicious except a bad section of meat on the turkey club. That immediately turned us off for that part of the meal but we enjoyed the rest.My side of brown gravy was my favorite part. Didn't taste like it came from a can. I swear it tasted like pan drippings; good gravy always does. I'd order that with a side of fries and be happy.

Best dining atmosphere, and the kind of burger with the bread bun I adore 🥰 Will definitely come more visits.

nothing compares to a NJ diner but Pompton Queen is the best ever!! Probably one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Met the owners tonight and they are the sweetest! Comfort food from the cutest family business in Jersey❤️

Prices have gone up a lot since our last visit. Service was fine, atmosphere was fine. My chicken quesadilla was bland even after pouring sour cream and salsa on it. My husband’s pulled pork sandwich was decent but our plates honestly looked a little ridiculous with the mountains of fries. We like getting big portions don’t get me wrong but $40 total dinner for two people for what felt like mostly potatoes… we’ll be going elsewhere for nights out.

Pompton Queen Diner is a low key, home cooked like food offering restaurant. The variety of delightfully prepared mediterranean menus leaves place for wandering how is it possible to get such cuisine by Route 23 NJ.My only advice leans towards freshness of deserts. I understand that it is a restaurant and not a bakery but it is better have fewer deserts and fresh than many and ‘dehydrated’.Nevertheless, it is worth the try and I would recommend it !

During prime breakfast hours and people waiting we were seated immediately. Food was great, service amazing, no complaints. $70 including tip for 2 adults & 3 kids. Hash browns are actually homefries and require just a bit of salt and pepper.

Sloppy.If only we could give this place 0 stars. We just wanted to grab breakfast. We wanted to dine-in with our puppy while waiting for our car to get serviced. This RUDE and ARROGANT man idk if he’s the manager, wearing white short-sleeved polo and huge silver cross necklace, approached us and asked if our dog was a service animal to which we said yes to. Once he sat us down he asked us to have our pup stay on the floor (we had no problem with this) and maliciously spoke to our server while overtly looking and pointing at us. We ordered a crepe and bagel with cream cheese and lox. We clarified we only wanted a few lox and not the platter. We ended up placing everything for takeout because of how uncomfortable they made us feel while waiting, and ate outside instead. The food was soooooo SLOPPY and was charged $20 for the salmon platter that came with the thickest slices of tomato, brownish rotting lettuce, and old salmon. Total for 2 things costed us $50. When my partner paid, he looked at her as if she didn’t have the means and asked for a tip. I’ve read other racial-related reviews, so maybe she was the wrong color for him?Thanks for making your customers feel unwelcome and disgusted. We have been coming to this diner for years and never had a problem. This is the first time we have been discriminated against.

I dined at the Pompton Queen this past Saturday night with my mother and uncle after attending a funeral for a close family member. We wanted to go to the diner because of fond memories we have being there years ago. We came in half an hour before closing because we were craving desert. We apologized to the waitress for arriving so close to closing, but she reassured us it was fine. The service and desert were wonderful! The waitress did not know that we were coming in after saying goodbye to a family member, but made the day end on a bright note for us. She was so kind and warm to us! She brought us an extra cookie. I couldn’t find her to tell her thank you and that she made a sad day better for us.

Excellent food Had to have my jersey Taylor Ham n Egg n Cheese sandwich.Very busy diner,but they take your number then text you when table is ready. Very quick service. Friendly.Busy during and after church services also

Amazing 10/10 food !! Turkey bacon, hash browns, and over medium eggs were such a win !!! And these waffle fry burger sliders were absolutely delicious and gluten free ! Would high to recommend to any diner fellow lovers !

I went for breakfast. The food is good however the service can be improved. Our server didn’t check on us and we were waiting for water , jelly etc. the place is big and has lot of seating available. They charge fee if you pay by credit card.

Fantastic food! Their creamy tomato soup is to die for. I hope they keep it on their permanent menu. I had one of the specials. I think it was called the pub steak with crumbled blue cheese and bacon. Wow!The service and the food here is impeccable.

We ordered out from work and my coworkers raved about their food. Not knowing the menu items ahead, there was a lot to choose from and I wanted to do something out of the regular. I decided on the lamb burger and it was actually pretty decent. They gave me a side of fries which were perfect in form (not oily and cooked just right (not crunchy)).The food filled me up. Hopefully one day I'll visit in person and get more pictures to get a feel for the atmosphere.

Good coffee, good breakfast, delicious toast. Haven’t been in here a hot minute. The wholePlace looks remodeled. So it’s been a while. My complaint is the glasses, they are disgusting, I was afraid to drink from it. Price is about average. Nothing cheap anywhere, anymore. Service was ok. The lady there has been there forever. A young blond refilled the coffee and was extremely friendly which is a plus. They do have a up charge if you use credit card.

Awesome classic diner feel with an extensive and interesting menu. Some usuals - egg creams, breakfast, Ruebens, matzo ball soup. And some not so usuals - breakfast sandwich made with French toast for buns and hash browns inside, avocado toast on jalapeño cornbread, a delightful stack of portobello mushroom/grilled bell peppers/smoked mozzarella. They also have an extensive dessert list that they make most of in house, so was very happy I was able to get a very nice slice of pumpkin pie.Loved our server, he was very funny and fast. Plenty of parking in the lot. Would go back to try more of the massive menu.

Stopped here for lunch. Right off interstate 80. Delicious Autumn Tom turkey sandwich, with real roast turkey, wonderful sweet potato fries. Tasty beef barley soup. Glad I stopped.

Great menu and very adaptive kitchen. Food quality is fresh and dessert selections are original and unique. Air conditioning can be a bit cold so bring a light jacket or sweater. Servers are young and fairly knowledgeable and helpful in menu guidance.

Good food and service was great. A group of 15 of us dined in on Sunday afternoon. Service was perfect; always asked if we needed anything, and always came back with refills. I had the Nashville chicken sandwich with tater tots (Tots were a sub from regular fries)- recommend!! Everyone really enjoyed their meals, from chicken paninis, burgers, to pancakes. Prices were very reasonable for the portions served. Highly recommend this Diner if you're in the area, or traveling on 80

I unfortunately have to give this diner a bad rating because of unethical business practices being conducted on the part of the owner. On the front door there is a note (pictures) stating that addition fees will be arbitrarily added to your bill - and a fine example of this can be seen on my check. Before even getting to the register, if you look closely, a "non cash adjustment" was added to my bill. Being a diner, it is normal to receive your receipt first before going to the register. The intention of this is clear - to charge unwitting customers an additional fee in the hopes of pulling a fast one over on them.In the end, while my food was decent and waitress was fantastic, However, I unfortunately can't condone this type of practice.Let people know that a fee will be added for credit cards and add it at the time of checkout just like everyone else does. If you think this will make you look bad, then perhaps you should look in the mirror. But trying to scam people - even for sums as low as 50 cents should not be accepted by customers.Thank you to Keara for being fantastic!

Our server was exceptional. Highly personable and made my wife, daughter and I laugh. He was an unusually slender man, and I wish I remembered him name. Hopefully you'll be lucky and have a memorable meal here as we did.

Diner is big with great environment to bring your family. Great quality FOOD & customer service!We went for breakfast. Ordered eggs any style with home fries and whole wheat toast along with mimosas. The little details were missing like mimosas were served in wine glasses not flutes. The menu is big with lots of options to choose from.

I wanted to try this spot for lunch and called in my order. When I arrived I parked in the private lot. I walked in and was greeted and my food was ready. I ordered the fish and chips. I paid and left. When I ate I wasn't too fond of the meal. The fries weren't bad but the fish wasn't great to me. It was missing something. I won't order this meal again.

I hadn't been here in years so I thought I'd try it again. My table wasn't cleaned properly. Still had colored sprinkles from the last customers. I ordered one of the dinner specials, Paella. Never again! The shrimp & squid were overcooked & rubbery. The clams & mussels didn't taste fresh. I gave 3 stars only because the waiter was polite & professional. I was hesitant to have the manager called over but he assured me it was no big deal. The manager was very polite & allowed me to order something else. I had chicken fingers. Don't think I'll go back again, though.

This is a tough one for be because of the situation I had. First off let me say that their food is good . The problem I have is that I tried ordering through grub hub. I ordered chicken tenders as an item and I received onion rings. I called the diner and all they told me was they don’t know why I didn’t get chicken tenders and I had to contact grub hub which to me isn’t fair because grub hub didn’t mess up my order the diner did but they didn’t do anything to rectify the situation. I ordered chicken fingers for my kids and that’s fine I would get my money back but my kids didn’t want onion rings they wanted chicken fingers so for me it wasn’t fair. Had they understood the situation and admitted they messed up and tried to rectify it this review would be 5 stars. The customer service needs work

Came here late on a Saturday evening when it was super busy and a short wait for a table. But we were seated before long and the server was extremely prompt and efficient. The food was nicely prepared, tasty and well-proportioned. Would definitely return.

Very extensive diner menu with options for everyone in your group. Food came in a reasonable time frame and servers were fun and engaging with our teenagers!

This is what a medium rare burger looks like…….The food is too expensive for it not to be cooked right or taste good. The wings are more bread than chicken with a squishy texture instead of crunchy almost like they heat it up in the microwave. Be cautious when comming here….

Fabulous experience . One of the Best NJ diners in the area. Quick service is the key . Everything you can imagine they have ! Ordered the Bagel lox sandwich. Freshest generous salmon slices,Greek kamalta olives ,capers ,cream cheese, fresh sliced 🍅. So much I took half home for lunch. Omlette was perfect , hash browns , rye toast and crispy bacon. A wonderful experience. They serve your choice libation if you care to indulge for lunch or dinner. It was crowded because clearly they understand custo.er is king 🤴. Or Queen 👸 or anything in between to be politically correct !

This was our first time experiencing this restaurant & it definitely did NOT disappoint. The service was fantastic (Thank you, Julia) & the food was incredible. Not only that, it was served super fast, piping hot & exactly how we ordered it. Hubby had the 'Maryland Benedict' (crab cakes w/poached eggs on english muffins) served with crispy hash browns. He was very sceptical seeing this listed, as he grew up in the Baltimore area & *knows* what crab cakes are supposed to taste like, but took a chance. He was blown away by their taste. Was totally not expecting the exquisite taste they had. I sampled the 'He-Man' (pancakes, french toast, eggs, sausage, & bacon). Every bit of it scrumptious. If you get the chance to visit, don't pass it up! We, for sure, will be back. Just sorry it took us as long as it did to try them.

My 3 egg Greek omelet was generous & yummy. You have a choice of 2 sides. The 2 pancakes were light & tasty. Hubby had 2 easy over eggs done perfect with generous serving of corned beef hash. Neither of us could have eaten a 2nd choice. Our server was sweet & attentive.

I ordered chicken wings, a salad, and soup.The wings were frozen in the middle. I showed the waitress, who was apologetic, and I asked to speak with the manager. The Manager was too busy to come talk to me, I waited about 10 minutes and then got up to talk to her.She was fairly indifferent and said she took them off my bill and basically dismissed me. I was shocked how little she cared about serving raw meat. I said I’ve lost my appetite and will not be eating the rest of my meal. She snapped back, “So what, you want a free meal?” I told her I was not eating any of the meal. I tipped the waitress and left feeling completely disgusted by not only the food but the manager’s attitude.Never coming back.UPDATE *2/6/24*To be clear, the reason I wanted to speak to the manager was to let her know that being served raw, frozen chicken had been traumatic for me.I'm glad I wasn't charged for it, but was some acknowledgement of the error or an apology so much to ask for? Not only did the manager never come to apologize after I waited for 10 minutes, when I walked over to HER, the first thing she said to me was, "I took it off already." When I tried to explain, she accused me of pushing for a free meal and showed absolutely no human interest in the mistake that took place. I had every intention of paying for the rest of my meal, but after the owner kept insisting all I cared about was a free meal, I tipped the waitress and left. I’ve worked in the service for years and I am never rude to waitstaff, even when I am served raw meat. I was very polite throughout the whole interaction and I calmly walked out with my 4 year old son.As you can see from the reply to my comment - human decency continues to be lacking from this place. Great diner experience.Went for dinner.I had the turkey dinner and my husband has the chicken and shrimp francese. Both were excellent. Food came out hot and was delicious. Meals come with soup or salad and depending on what you order come with 2 sides and some choices come with dessert.Serving sizes were generous and the food was really top quality.Our service was great as well.We will definitely go back!

Was very displeased with lunch today. No greeting at door, rude waitress and beef burrito looked like old meat with absolutely no flavor a few black beans no rice. Breakfast burrito had bacon bits and a sliver of cheese at the very top not in it. Hash browns were crumbs. If you ran out of potatoes just say so don't serve scraps you have left and expect people to come back or pay high prices for terrible food and service. Have some pride in what you serve honestly.

So I happen to be at a birthday party next door and wanted a quick place to order grilled chicken sandwich. I walked in and sat at the front table where the waitress is and cashier. I waited five minutes while the waiters and waitresses walked past me several times without saying a word I myself had to ask can someone help me with my order. The manager/owner says to me “give me a minute I have to tend to something I dealing with”so he came over literally after a minute and didn’t excuse himself or his staff for just walking past me several times without saying a word. Place my order and now I will wait until I get my food to see if it was worth the wait. I am literally sitting here and no one has asked me if I wanted a cup of water or if they should give me my cup of seltzer. Very poor service. No hospitality whatsoever!! Too it off the packed my food to go when I was here to eat in. Never asked me for here or to go. Food was ok but service very poor.

Great affordable diner. The food is good and the staff is really nice and polite.

There was plenty of parking in the rear of the plaza even during lunch hours. Drinks and food were served promptly and food was fantastic. The atmosphere was nice, we were able to have full conversations even with so many guests. The only problem with our lunch was that when we “appeared” to be done eating the bussers (3 men) came without asking and took everything off the table and even went as far as wiping and setting the table for new guests.

My best friend and her kids and I came in to have breakfast together, and we were greeted as we came through the back entrance.(More parking is available in the back.)We were seated at a table. Then, a waitress with lavender/blonde hair was our server. She came to the table, and it was as it she had an attitude the way she put the water down and threw the straws on the table.My best friend and I glimpsed at each other and guessed that maybe our service isn't wanted here?Fast forward, she ordered her kids food, it came. Then she shoved her son's burger to him instead of handing it to him, then put down her daughters pancake to give her. Another red flag!We ordered our food after the kids' food came, and the waiter seemed to be in a better mood? Maybe because she'd have to hand out the check soon?The food was great, lettuce was fresh, and tomatoes. However, I don't think this place would need my business. The weird looks the waitress gave us when we left, just because the kids wanted a lollipop?Maybe it was a bad day for the waitress, but I didn't like how she treated us, and from the first time, she dropped off the waters.

Attentive staff, value pricing, and nice sized portions. Sunny side eggs and well done corned beef hash was prepared just right. The pastrami sandwich was almost NY Jewish deli style but one of the best from an NJ diner for $12, You can’t miss with this family owned and operated establishment. I wish they could deliver to my town 10 miles away.

I had high hopes but the food was not what I expected, spoiled as I am by Deluxe Diner in Newark and Tops in Kearny. One order was burnt and the other was pretty tasteless. We would’ve ordered our dessert with dinner if they’d told us they were in danger of running out—we specifically told them we only wanted that one kind of cake—and they told us it’s ok to wait to order. Then when we went back to order, they had run out.

Why did I order an extra thick milkshake but received chocolate water on top of that the home fries aren’t from home more like jail….where’s the seasoning the peppers and onions? The only thing I’ve had worth eating is the chocolate chip pancakes which are more chocolatey then my milkshake. I don’t waste food so I had to eat it smh

Went for breakfast with my family and everything was so good! We loved our server, although, I can't remember his name and I feel bad. He said he's from Costa Rica so hopefully that narrows it down. But awesome server ! We had eggs and omelets and sides and everything was delicious.

Food and service was really great! The chicken finger basket has a good portion of onion rings, fries, and chicken fingers and is really great quality. Ice cream waffle is a Must at least once. Taylor ham and cheese and Boston cream pancakes are really great for breakfast!! Overall amazing food, atmosphere and people!!!

Best spanakopita I've ever had. It's absolutely worth driving out of my way. Always save half for the next day, and it's just as good. Everything my family has ever had has been delicious.

My husband and I were.visiting the area and happened upon a review for this diner. Our expectations were more than met! Our waiter Sergio was friendly, knowledgeable and always had coffee ready for me. My husband's waffle was light and airy and my Taylor ham and eggs was excellent. And, oh, the French fries are amazing! If we are ever back in the area, we will return!

I ordered the Greek chicken and feta wrap with tzaziki dressing. The wrap was delicious but the tzaziki sauce was made with sour cream instead of Greek yogurt. My daughter had a roast beef warm with bacon club. She ate all the bacon but left the roast beef because it wasn't thin enough. But overall we had a good meal and the service was great. Margie was a great server and spent a lot of time with us. Will definitely come back!

We got takeout. It was the worst Ruben I ever had. Not much corned beef and frys were old, greazy, and too salty. No pickles or side coleslaw that should have been part of the platter. The food used to be good here but seems like new owners? Very disappointed! I hate to give bad review but never going back.

The place is OK If you want something fast and are not too picky.The servers are really great. But the food is cheap quality and the place feels like it hasn't been updated since the 70s.Every time we go it's NEVER busy. I think they really need a signature dish that will make people go there for.

The Plaza Café and Diner is a charming family run establishment with a friendly atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious, attractively presented food. The decor is relaxing, and the restaurant pristine. My husband and I have eaten here twice since they reopened under the new ownership/management, once us alone for a late lunch, and once as part of a group of six for an early dinner. Both times we were well taken care of. The menu is standard diner fare with a few interesting additions, and with the wide variety of options, there is truly something for everyone. The location is excellent, very easy to get to, and located within several walkable blocks of shops and businesses, across the street from the train station. If you are in the Morris Plains area, or traveling through, I highly recommend the Plaza Cafe and Diner! Enjoy, and be blessed!

The place is older and has some mileage under its belt but surprisingly the food was good! After walking in my first impression was to leave and go somewhere else but I'm glad I stayed. Food was delicious!

First time there… very cute and quaint! The place was very clean and staff was friendly and welcoming.I had the tuna on toasted whole grain… it was very tasty! Although it is a simple sandwich, not many places get it right… this place did! I would definitely go back!

There are other places I’d rather go to and enjoy doing so, but a family member enjoys it being within walking distance. The food is okay, but I have had stomachaches the two times I’ve eaten here. The diner had a weird smell today and it made me question how clean it really was. The food takes FOREVER to come out, more than 35 minutes. Today, our waitress had difficulty forming complete sentences and after we were done eating, while the table of men next to us had been sitting there talking for an hour after they ate their food and there was another empty table behind us, our waitress asked us to immediately get up and leave bc they had three women waiting. This was so rude. I will not be back to this diner.

It was either the Manager or Owner was super friendly: We ordered DoorDash and had a small issue with the delivery, the lady went out of her way to make things right when we called.My son AJ had a competition in the nearby area, and it was perfect for a quick dinner or snack! My family and I were looking to meet up at a diner. I was expecting a mega diner half a block long, so when I saw this place I'm thinking we made a mistake choosing it. I was so wrong, the Plaza Cafe was delightful, food fresh and good, the service was great, and we were never rushed. Very welcoming place! Enjoy!

Picked this spot because it looked like a really cute diner (which it was). The food and service did not disappoint! Everything was super yummy and our server John was super attentive and kind. Food came out pretty quickly even though it was New Years. I would definitely come back if I had the chance.

Stumbled across this diner while driving back to the city from the Delaware Water Gap. Good value for the price- I walked away being extremely full and maybe slightly in a food coma. Great service- our waitress was really nice. I ordered the shrimp and scallops. Tried the creamed cauliflower which was heavy but worth it. My friend got the tuna melt.They do have free wifi here!

Diners have gone beyond downhill. I come to a diner for better breakfast than the breakfast at home. I come for a well made hot meal. What I get is a cold, undercooked, lazy excuse of a meal. Will not be going back. 4/13/24

Just came here for the first time for a nice dinner with my mom. They had amazing food, no wait time, amazing staff, good prices. Rebecca was our waitress and she was very kind and patient with us and other costumers. They are very welcoming and if your in the area looking for a place to eat I’d 100% recommend stopping here.

On November 11, 2023 at about 12:30 P.M., I visited Budd Lake Diner, in Budd Lake, New Jersey. There is a mid-sized parking lot available outside the diner. The cost of my meal was about $26 dollars. I walked in and I was greeted by the cashier, who took me to a booth for 2 people. The diner was small but still clean and there was enough spacing between the seats. The diner had an old-school and vintage ambiance, which I appreciate because for someone younger like myself it feels like I get to experience going back in time and enjoying what my parents enjoyed. The wait time for both the food and seating was not long, it was very quick and the food came out within about 10 minutes of ordering. My server started me off with drinks and I ordered a raspberry iced tea. The menu featured almost any kind of comfort food you could imagine, like pasta, all day breakfast, wraps, burgers, salads, etc. I ordered jalapeño poppers, and a margarita flatbread which came with a Caesar salad side. Both the appetizer and the flatbread exceeded my expectations. There is something available for everyone at Budd Lake Diner, such as for vegetarians like myself, as they have an extensive menu. This diner does accept credit cards but I am not sure if it accepts cash, but I would assume so because there is an ATM machine available. I would highly recommend anyone in the area to stop by!

Morris county is home to some of the best diners in NJ, including, but not limited to, the Jefferson diner (which appeared on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives), the Hibernia diner, the Morristown Diner, the Randolph diner, the Roxbury diner, the Whippany diner, and Paul’s family diner. My personal favorite is the Budd Lake diner. It’s full of old school charm and the new owners, who happen to be my neighbors down the block from where I live, have got it running better than ever. I’ve had just about everything under the sun at this place from breakfast skillets, to burgers, to pasta, and even a really well executed cowboy steak with crab stuffed mushrooms. The food here is excellent and the hospitality is even better. I really recommend this place to anyone looking for a good bite to eat in the Hackettstown-Budd Lake-Mount Olive area.

The Budd Lake Diner is a good, traditional diner with a wide variety of selections. I ordered the Chicken Balsamico off the specials menu, which was topped with cherry tomatoes, red onions, arugula, and a special sauce. It tasted very good. The meal also came with delicious chicken soup. I was impressed that they were very generous with the amount of chicken in the soup, as many diners barely include any chicken. The prices were also reasonable, the staff was friendly, and there was a pleasant atmosphere overall. I’d definitely recommend the Budd Lake Diner.

I went here for the 1st time. Staff was very friendly. I asked for a burger well done! This is not well done at all!

Apparently I need to remind them of the absolute rancid meal I was served. And the fact u want to charge me 3 dollars when I didn't get to eat my original meal and I have to drive back out there to get the refund. I was going to give it a chance and get a burger but they really wanted to charge me the 3 dollars difference. Yup that's what I was given for dinner.

Decent Diner & PricesNew Owners, New Menu & some new Waitresses - August 2022I was excited to try this diner out again since I heard they recently had new owners and was pleasantly surprised compared to previous visits. Waitress today was also new and although she is still learning the menu she was very nice & pleasant. Diner looks the same on the inside but a lot of new staff and the menu is completely new. Tried a burger today and the cook did a good job! Medium well just like I asked for and it tasted pretty good too. My friend had a wrap with grilled chicken and that was also pretty good. I’ll be happy to go again another time.

We've passed this place for years and finally decided to stop in for breakfast. It's a great family friendly restaurant. Feels more like a Denny's than a diner but the coffee is good and the service was fast. Great with little kids.

So great to sit outdoors on the patio under light shade with a good breakfast and coffee for Father's Day, when everyone else is crowded inside. Enjoyed a delicious spinach and feta cheese omelet with fried potatoes and their great tasting plump link sausages with rye toast. We go there often, and all delicious with pleasant service.BTW, if you want crispy has browns, try the deep fried potatoes with breakfast.

Family's new to town, and it was all our first visit here. Nice, proper diner menu, lots of selection, and delightfully pleased with the food (open turkey sandwich!).We'll be back for more - and, interestingly, it's set up to do a fair bit of non-seated, in and out service, ordering coffees, bagels, and pastries at a front counter.

I ordered in and ate at the restaurant but I liked that they had a to-go counter for breakfast foods, too!My waitress was very sweet at attentive. The food was good but the waitress was very frazzled. She was training in 2 other girls. 1st, they forgot our creamer for coffee. Then, my husband ordered the BEEF hot sandwich and got turkey! Then She filled my coffee and walked away after my husband held his cup out. He got a refill right before we were going to leave. It was kind of comical, but a bummer too. Remember not only one person messed up but all 3 of them weren't listening. Salad was only lettuce, tomato and cucumber. Very plain. No ketchup for fries so had to use ranch.

I had high hopes for this establishment but of course was let down again. Ordered chocolate chip pancakes... completely burnt. Ordered BUFFALO wings and was given the tiniest bit of buffalo sauce and they didn't even taste like buffalo sauce. I ordered french fries...wasn't even delivered, their chocolate moose "cake" wasn't even cake...it was a cupcake and was just chocolate and moose. Despite ALL of this all Adams could tell me was that they were busy and that's why everything came the way it did. They told me to complain to Door Dash because they can't help me.

The first diner with American food that I am surprised with all tasty dishes. Love the atmosphere in this Adam Fam. Rest. it makes you feel cozy like home. I am not a fan of Burger no matter what. But their Salmon Burger changed my mind. The Sausage Gravy with biscuit is the best heart attack plate of food my husband has had in a while. And love love love big smooth cup of coffee which is totally different from yucky coffee at other diners I have been. Strongly recommend.

This is a very versatile restaurant. There are pages and pages of options on the menu!!! There’s an all day breakfast menu with options such as omelets. There’s wraps, sandwiches and dinners! My husband and I split a turkey burger on whole grain bread with mozzarella cheese, grilled mushrooms and spinach! It was so good!!! We ordered from the healthy choices menu, but we decided to add French fries to the sandwich!!! It was all very tasty!! The menu had Greek undertones on the food choices. There are also plenty of delicious desserts! Our server was very sweet!!! The owner was very nice, too! He talked about the difficulties of staying afloat during Covid.

Solid experience. I ordered eggs over easy with sausage and home fries and I have no complaints. They have some amazing breakfast options, but I'm a pretty simple breakfast guy. Not worth it… thought it would be a cute old school diner, but the staff was not very kind or caring. The style is fun, but it smells musty, and the menu is too big considering the things we got weren’t made with care and did not taste very good. The details were lost in forgotten sides and condiments, scraps of meat cooked into the pancakes, unmentioned up-charges. Veggie burger and bun disintegrated within the first few bites, and was missing cheese and mayo, as well as sides. I understand it isn’t a beef patty, but as one of the only vegetarian options besides eggs or an overpriced salad, I’d hoped it would be better. It is possible to make a good one. The server offered to have it remade, but it would not have been any better considering it just fell apart! The manager didn’t check in, and couldn’t split bill when cashing out at the counter. He said it was our responsibility to get the bill split with our server, and that she wouldn’t ask, we just have to tell her. Did not apologize or try to make up for any of it. As someone who works in hospitality and takes pride in the art of providing a good experience and meal, it’s not somewhere I would recommend.

There must be a good reason why you are in business for over 70 years, simple recipe great food great service and fair prices.Great option if you are in the area, breakfast options are great, big portions, omelets are very delicious sausages and bacon cooked to perfection, you must try the raspberry ice tea.Staff are nice and attentive, plenty parking.It may look small but it’s very accommodating inside, I will definitely go again to try the lunch menu,I highly recommend it.

A group of six of us had breakfast here today to celebrate my daughter's school graduation. The pancakes, egg omelets, and home fries were all fresh, delicious, and generous portion sizes. The coffee was good too. I have not had the chance to have lunch or dinner here yet but based upon how delicious breakfast was, I plan to return soon. I highly recommend Paul's Diner at least for breakfast, it was delicious and you will not leave hungry nor disappointed.

Never heard of this diner until today, a friend of mine came by and mentioned it so we decided to give it a try, glad we did.A nice welcoming smile from the guy who seat us and a nice server really attentive.We ordered fired chicken , fish and Chips and a cheese philly stake in a wrap, plus Mc and cheese bites, everything was really good and tasty, the chicken was crispy and not grease at all so the fish, the philly wrap was loaded and yummy.But the best part was that super delicious cheesecake!! Super creamy!!! , we will coming back soon for sure.

I have been coming to this diner for over 2 months and I have to say the staff is very friendly especially the one gentleman Mike and that one young lady who is always smiling. The food came out very quick and was warm and scrumptious. Can't forget about the hot coffee! I will coming here again.

Just wanted a good meal after a week of mediocre ones. Asked for a Greek side salad with my entree. It was the best Greek salad in a long time. Entree was seafood scampi over angel hair in a portion I would serve to two people. Jumbo shrimp, not overcooked. Large calamari rings. Delicious sauce. Amazing, tender white fish and salmon chunks. I was in heaven. Next time I'm in NJ, I will go back. Service was kind and well-informed. Bravo!

Had a really rude experience at breakfast. It was my first time here and while we were about to place our order with our server, the hostess interrupted and said a new guest was requesting for our server. Our server immediately starts having a conversation with the new guests and just leaves us. We sit there all confused and eventually get assigned a new server after roughly 5 minutes. It took us less than a minute for us to place an order and I am not sure why the first server couldn't just take our order instead of fully ditching us for a known customer. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Our new server was fine but the first server just made our whole experience sour. Will not be returning.

I have been a patron here for almost 50 years, and I will drive 50 miles out of my way for a Nautilus turkey club sandwich.

A HUGE shout out to the Nautilus Diner... Billy, Valentina, the kitchen staff, the host/cashier, everyone! I brought my class of adult learners in for lunch. Our bus arrived late and they held my large table open for us. The staff was soooo very accommodating, patient, kind, and understanding of our needs. They went above and beyond to ensure my learner with severe allergies was able to enjoy a safe meal out. Our server could not have been more patient and zen through all of our chaos.Thank you again!

They were busy so obviously the service was unsatisfactory. Food came very quickly but wasn't great. We denied the icecream and a drink that comes with kids meal and got the milkshake instead. They charged us full for the milkshake. Just the kids burger and a milkshake cost me around 20. Overall, we spent $42 for a kids burger, chicken sandwich, coffee and a milkshake. I found the food and service not worth it.

Louis, who is the co-owner apparently (I asked), is the most insufferable person I've witnessed in my dining experience here. His ego seems to be sky high because of his treatment towards his waiter staff. His screams towards his staff could be heard from my table and they were all insults about their lives, appearance, etc. Not only that but I caught him looking at the female waitresses' behinds too many times which I find disgusting considering they're much younger than him. What a creep!

Absolutely the WORST food I’ve EVER had at a diner! For Pete’s sake! I ordered an eggplant parmigiana sandwich, French fries and asked them to put extra garlic on it. First, the eggplant was brunt. The tomato sauce was bland and soggy with little taste or seasoning ( absolutely NO garlic) the cheese was a soggy lump on top and the roll it was served on was wet and soggy. (I did not eat the bread) It was overly oily and I shouldn’t have dared to eat it. Now I am having gastric distress with severe gas.The server and manager were very nice, but I am suffering now having eaten that awful food. Never ever again!

Was served raw chicken. Manager knew about the issue and never came to the table even though it was not busy (whatever was on tv must have been too entertaining.) We mentioned the issue at the counter but it was evident that he did not really seem to care. On Lincoln's birthday, I had blackened salmon in a sweet chili glaze over vegetable fried rice.... I've had it often, and it's excellent!I've been a regular at the Empire Diner for over ten years, and it's always been terrific.Bobby, Chris, Paul, Bobby's son Frank, and Mel take excellent care of me!! I recommend The Empire for the great food and the wonderful proprietors!!

This spot has a small menu but the food was fresh and delicious. That's the benefit of seeing a small menu, you know they are able to keep fresh quality ingredients. We had a very nice waiter who took care of our every need. If the busser was moving along quick. He brought us our drinks as soon as we sat down and when he cleared tables off around us, he made sure to place the dishes nicely so we didn't have loud crashing sounds around while we were eating. Love that! Great spot. Would definitely stop by again when in this neck of the woods.

Best cheesecake I’ve had in years - creamy, not too dense or overcooked, perfect flavor. 5/5 for the cheesecake hands down. The breakfast and service were pretty mediocre - the potatoes were so disappointing, somehow they were bland, undercooked, and dry all at the same time. Service was gruff at best. Would definitely stop by for take out dessert but would skip the sit down breakfast service.

Located off a busy Route 10 East, this establishment was conveniently close after running an errand today. Upon entering, there is no ambience or great decor, but the place was clean. My partner, my mom and I were first-timer here at the East Hanover Diner and was able to get a table right away after being greeted by the host. Similar to most Jersey diners, everything was under the sun, with a wide variety to choose from their 12-page menu. We settled for one of their weekend specials consisting of broiled salmon with fries, broccoli and chicken noodle soup; a beef gyro sandwich with fries; and a crispy chicken sandwich with fries and two onion rings. The food was well prepared and delicious. Our server was efficient and tried to smile (she wasn’t a smiler). Reasonable prices, large portions, and took the salmon home for another meal. We can recommend this place.

The food was great. My server, not so much. She was annoyed we took a while to decide what we want, but I brushed it off. She brought out the food and never once came to check on us. I asked her for boxes and she was too busy making a personal phone call to bring them to our table. No diner owner like John! He is exceptional and truly cares about all his customers. My husband and I were at another diner recently and all we kept saying is how it couldn’t come close to the East Hanover diner. The Greek salad here is loaded with fresh and delicious feta cheese. In this other place; you were lucky to get crumbles. The baklava there was one layer! That place in Saddle Brook should be ashamed of themselves. The baklava’s amazing at East Hanover Diner. I think I will start a new tradition for Rosh Hashanah and have baklava with delicious honey in it as dessert! No diner compares! The fudge cake is to die for and the cheesecake is out of this world. The owner, John, goes out of his way to always make sure his customers are happy. We love John! He truly cares about the food he serves and his customers. That’s why people go back all the time. I wish I could give this place 10 stars!!!

I love this diner. Just visited recently and saw the interior got updated. The remodeling has definitely modernized the interior. Thankfully the quality and service is still the same unlike some other diners in the area. All of our food came out correctly. Wait staff was kind and patient. I got the bacon and blue cheese burger. It was delicious and cooked correctly. Portions are great. I’ll definitely be coming back more.

This diner used to be good, but not anymore. Food is always cold, not sure what the deal is with no sauce on the pasta or sandwiches either, even if you ask for extra sauce. Take out orders are always wrong and if you call to let them know the response is "what do you want me to do about it?" Seriously, that is terrible customer service not to mention rude. A simple I am sorry for inconvenience and will speak to whoever packed your order, would have been nice.

Great menu and newly renovated. This is one of our top places to grab a meal. Polite staff and you get seated immediately. Food service is accurate and fast. I asked for my Taylor ham medium-well and it was cooked perfectly. A lot of times I find small details get missed but they always get our order correct. Got off rt80 for gas at exit 30. Stopped on a whim! Excellent service! The meatloaf dinner was perfect! Coffee was good. Very clean and it was after 9 and everything was perfect! We weren’t rushed. You made our trip home easier with a full belly:) the deserts looked great but we were too full to have them:( great place to go!

We had a group of 9 people.. Waitress was very pleasant and had everybody's order exactly correct. The food came out at the same time for everybody and it was hot.. Drinks were refilled without having to ask for them. The atmosphere was very pleasant and I can't wait to eat here again.

Lunch was very good. Chicken soup, chicken tenders for the kids, mashed potatoes, mozzarella sticks, a salad with a scoop of tuna. Be specific if you don’t want a mix of iceberg lettuce and make sure you get the sides food comes with. Four pieces of chicken fingers were large but didn’t get the side fries. Waited 30 minutes for a cob salad. Waitress came over to give us our check and we told her we hadn't received our food yet. Meatloaf was good, mashed potatoes out of a box. Cob salad was mostly the heart of the lettuce head, so was bitter. Staff was friendly and had that dinner vibe.

Stopped in for lunch, we were visiting area for a wedding. Born and raised in New Jersey and going to diners my whole life, we knew we had to find one before the wedding!! The diner did not disappoint! I got my usual fair when going to diners - egg omelet with cheese and onions, a toasted English muffin and a side of corned beef hash. Loved it all except I did ask for the corned beef hash to be extra crispy, but it seemed barely cooked. My husband got a turkey club with French fries, sooo good!! Probably won't be back as we are back home, but super happy we had a nice lunch here!!

Classic NJ diner with some solid choices. Stopped by on a Thursday late afternoon and we ordered a California wrap and Greek wrap. Both plates were packed and both were tasty. My partner ordered the pea soup and didn’t care for it. Food was good, service was great. I especially appreciate the old school diner feel and the nostalgia.

What’s with the reviews? This place is AMAZING! My son had a competition and we were staying at a hotel in a nearby location, it looked a little busy at first but we decided to go in anyways. Despite there being almost every table filled, they served our food within less then 15 minutes. This was extremely impressive as we ordered 2 Pancakes, and a Grilled Chicken Wrap.The atmosphere and interior is so cute! We loved the decor around us: it was a very comfortable environment. Unlike some restaurants, not too much light, and not too little: the tables aren’t too big, but aren’t too small, the diner was clean: we had no issues of finding a clean table. You could definitely say the interior was great.The server was friendly and attentive, my son can be a bit picky, yet he LOVED the food. I have to say, the food was definitely higher then our expectations: we’ve been to a ton of restaurants nearby Jersey, we would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some place to eat whether it’s dinner, lunch, or breakfast.We will definitely be returning!- Monica

I asked for a grilled cheese and received a grilled chicken. I have a video of my order being placed and it shows both I and the waiter saying “grilled cheese”.Upon receiving my order I truly thought I messed up and said chicken, but this video now proves it.I was only passing through town, this was disappointing.There were other minor concerns like greeting the guest, filling our glasses of water.Chicken was also dry and bland.All levels of disappointment.

The food was as good as I remember! I hadn't been to the Morristown Diner in about 5 years, but the food tasted as good as I remember. Favorite item has always been their open-faced Reuben. The serving of fries was very generous and they came out very crisp. The Boneless Buffalo wings were a bit overcooked, but still tasted good.

The service was excellent! The coffee was also great. I ordered scrambled eggs and corn beef hash with potatoes. Everything seemed to be cooked a little too heavily in grease.Parking is in a paid lot a few feet from the restaurant. There is some free parking right outside the restaurant, but kinda tightOverall, the service was great. The food was so so.

The service was phenomenal. Between the waitress Rachel and the woman behind the counter Cat, I felt as if I was back home and very welcomed. Food was delicious and brought out extremely fast. All in all an outstanding experience. Catherine deserves every penny she makes!

Definitely like the location. The outside was very beautiful. The plans and water fall very nice. The inside also very well taken care of. The service was great. The wrap wasn’t that good the wife said didn’t have enough taste. My California burger wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. So they get a 4 because the food wasn’t as great.

Pleasant dining experience even though the waiter got the order incorrect and brought partial plate of what was originally ordered. He was very pleasant and apologized after revisiting on his writing pad of what was originally ordered.Thankfully it was one of those days where I wasn't due for any other appointments later that day. So....we just waited until the correctly ordered item was brought to the table as I munched on part of the first incorrect order. It was all good after that!

Went with my wife for a Valentines lunch date. She had the Bruschetta burger and I had the flounder sandwich on rye. Both were very tasty! Fries were good as was the coleslaw and pickle. Lauren was our server and she was awesome as well. We will be back to dine again!

My wife and I visited for brunch on a Sunday. Couldn't be better. Friendly and conversational service, generous portions, and delicious food. We'll certainly be revisiting this place in our "new diner every weekend" quest.

Have been here for breakfast a few times, usually on Sunday mornings. There is a lively vibe and it's clearly a popular local place. On our last visit, the waiter could not have been more friendly and attentive and we liked all of our food choices. I particularly like ordering curly fries with egg dishes. We live in NYC so don't get here that often but when in the area, I will plan to visit again.

This is a really reliable diner in terms of consistently good meals and service. Depending on the time of day and week, it can be quiet or really busy here. Either way, you are getting great service. The prices are on par for meals and the portions are always bountiful. The photo is of a breakfast sandwich that I had at my last meal there. And if you want a delicious breakfast with never ending cups of coffee, this is your place.

I don't write many restaurant reviews but this was so awful I had to say something. This was my first and unfortunately last time eating here -- the chicken tenders tasted like fish (like they were fried in the same oil??), the waffle fries were dry and hard and a bunch of small pieces like it was the last of the batch, and the rice pudding tasted like rancid milk. Yuck. I called and requested a refund and was told by the manager that he was not authorized to do that, but to come back and get the same meal on the house. I don't think I could even stomach going back here. Like other reviewers stated, I wish our town had a much better "go to" diner. So disappointing.

Scores are wonky because we don’t believe in blaming staff for issues beyond their control. Servers are friendly and attentive and our lunch very good… we had the Cuban panini which came close to the real thing and a very fresh BLT.The facility is dated, unkept and dirty. The restrooms were not well stocked and trash was over flowing.The dust is piling up and that just shows they never clean. The vintage diner sign outside is in need of repair.Such a shame - great old diner charm and their allowing it to go into disrepair.

!!TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!A group of 8 (including myself) waited an HOUR to get our orders taken.After notifying staff 2 times after the 45 minute mark that we were ready to order, we were met with rude attitude and were ignored. We were patient enough but after seeing that other large groups in the restaurant that CAME AFTER US were eating their food, we spoke up respectfully. The waitress (an older lady with brown hair and glasses) was incredibly rude and yelled at my friend to speak up while telling her order but was so kind to the other people in the restaurant.We came in at 9:40 as 7, got our drinks then were 8 people by 9:50. Our orders finally were taken around 10:45.On the other hand, the older men at the pay counter were very kind. It's a shame that our waitress couldn't reciprocate the politeness we gave her. Overall, The food was average and we all left unsatisfied after the experience. We have never had worse service and will never come back to this establishment again.

A classic NJ diner with modern decor. We were seated immediately as there was no wait however the place got crowded closer to 6 pm onwards. Lots of parking space. The service was quick and attentive. Even after customizing our order everything was made to perfection. We had gyro chicken wrap , 2 eggs with whole wheat toast and a single pancake which was to my surprise big. The black and white milkshake was also delicious.

Had an amazing time while I was here. I had stopped in while I was out running errands. Family friendly service and an somewhat upbeat atmosphere. My server Ava was very knowledgeable and a hard worker. Coming from as a Chef, I would definitely hire her at my restaurant. She recommended the tuna melt to me and even though I don't look like I love tuna, I do. I must say, the Chef definitely know what they are doing in the kitchen. The tuna was melted perfectly and the bread was not hard or soggy, just right. Keep up the amazing work and definitely would recommend you going here.

Came here for a late Sunday breakfast and it was so nice! The inside was decked out in pink for the barbie movie, and the staff seemed to know everybody, and even had a birthday gift for one guest! This diner used to be very good but the quality of the food is a big disappointment. My soup tasted old and the vegetables were over cooked. My fish was over cooked and very dry. My green beans wey so over cooked, it looks like it was made a week ago. My baked potato also tasted old. We were not offered dessert, but it looked like the showcase didn't go have much dessert in it. So I guess that is why we weren't offered. I think the place is might getting ready to close up.

I had the Chicken Torino and some cheesecake. The chicken was very bland even with the inside stuffed. It was pretty yucky. The broccoli that came with it was frozen broccoli.. The cheesecake was gross! the side of it tasted spoiled.. The only decent thing about the whole meal was the mashed potatoes sadly.. definitely wouldn’t recommend eating here.

The diner was practically empty at 2:45pm. The waitress Isabel was awesome and very helpful. The food was averahe. The bathroom needs an update and sanitizing!

Had breakfast 🥞 with the kids this morning and had the corn beef hash—with over easy eggs. This is the best one I’ve likely ever had. And the over easy eggs 🍳 were just the right runny consistency. The kids loved the mickey pancakes and scrambled eggs (2 different orders). And we got to ask for French fries as a little side for the kids—which was just perfect.

First time going here and we will definitely be back. The food was very good we tried the famous corned beef hash with eggs waffles and pancakes. The pancakes and waffles were perfect the coffee was also very delicious I’m so glad they had the option of hot or iced will definitely return in the future 100%. While these new places are always a welcome to what is already a fantastic dinning scene in downtown Denville, we can't forgot about the Denville landmarks that are just as awesome.Today's breakfast outing was to the Denville Diner, located at 17 Broadway pretty much smack dab in the center of downtown Denville. When going out for breakfast with two teenagers, you really don't have to be to concerned about waiting in lines because by the time we actually got out the door, the crowds were gone and we only waited for a few minutes before sitting down.Whenever I go for breakfast, a great way to start off the meal is the time it takes to sit down, have a server get the drink order in, until how long it takes to sip my coffee and will say Denville Diner did a great job!The menu had a great choice of lunch and breakfast choices and they even get extra points for their "plant based" menu options that were available. To set the record straight, I'm a meat and potatoes guy, but happy to see these options are available for my daughter.We stuck with breakfast and had the 1+1+1+1 (Frenchtoast, pancake, egg and sausage - instead of the sausage, they accommodated an egg swap without any hassle), the chocolate chip pancakes and a side of bacon, and the Spicey Omelet (Chicken sausage, jalapenos, roasted peppers and mozzarella cheese) with some whole wheat toast.The food was prepared quickly and was fresh and tasty and the service was good. A refill on the coffee was poured which also makes for a great dinning experience. Overall, it was a great meal and a great reminder to support all the local businesses in town. Not sure how long they have been around, but they are definitely worth visiting when looking for a great breakfast spot. I left full and satisfied and that is always a win in my book.

This is a small local diner. Seating is a little limited and tight which is why I couldn't rate atmosphere higher. It is cash only which came as a surprise to us. There is however an atm inside. The French toast was really good and my husband really enjoyed the eggs Benedict. The bacon wasn't my favorite and I wish the hashbrowns were done a little more but fully acknowledge that is personal preference. We plan on coming back here soon!

Cozy old school luncheonette serving delicious breakfast and lunches. This little luncheonette is so awesome. It has that cozy old school small town feel. The food is great and the people are better. Stopped in for breakfast and they have plenty of options from old school classics to twists on classic dishes. They also do lunch which I will for sure have to get back and try , I’m sure it’s as good as the breakfast. Fast and very friendly. Also note it’s cash only but they have an ATM.

Having driven past Bryan’s Luncheonette too many times to count, I never actually considered stopping for breakfast. That was a mistake. I did a search for best pancakes around, and Bryan’s rated really high. So, today, it was off to Bryan’s for pancakes, except, we didn’t end up eating pancakes. Instead, my wife had a tasty, homemade Quiche Lorraine with fruit, and I had an amazing Apple-Bacon-Brie omelette with rye toast. Food was well presented, staff was nice and accommodating. We did order the pancakes, but we’ll have to get to them later. One note: it is a cash only business, so be prepared (but they do have an ATM). Well worth the visit.

We stumbled upon Bryan's and it became our new favorite. Pictured is the apple and brie omelette with home fries and the avocado toast with eggs. Both were prepared picture perfect and very tasty. It's easy to see why this place is so popular. This is an old school small town luncheonette very homey and welcoming. The food is really good!

This diner employs the criminally insane.George’s Lincoln Park diner is an unassuming breakfast/lunch counter joint in a strip mall. It looks like the kind of place you would see in Triple D on Food Network. Upon ordering you realize it more like a place from Kitchen Nightmares.In hindsight I should have known I was in for a mistake when I heard the tireless toil of microwave buttons in the kitchen. I rarely think of a dish that come out better in the micro. The other big red flag should have been when they told us that the french toast was presoaked, as if bread dunked in eggwash couldn’t be a made to order dish.The real highlight of the meal was when we found no cheese in the 3 item (cheese, mushroom, green peppers) omelette. Our server assured us she entered it into the computer from across the restaurant. We asked for the cheese as the eggs were still steaming and I love inter table cooking, what we got for this request will go down in infamy for all of time.Approximately 6 minutes later we were brought a saucer of yellow sludge. Confidently our server exclaimed “I had them melt it for you” to which we affably and uncomfortably smiled. Aha! The microwave duly at work.If it were 1975 (my guess of its opening date based on the original decor still on display) this meal may have blown back our coiffed hairdos, but I’m certain George is rolling in his grave for the experience had within the walls of his namesake.If this is your weekly hang, carryon, but if you’re hungry and have never been, keep it that way.

This down-to-earth, hole-in-the-wall diner does not disappoint. The vibe is laid back and kind of retro without trying to be retro. It's the real deal. There were a couple of men who seemed to be "regulars" sitting at the counter, bantering back and forth. The young woman that waited on us was super friendly and attentive. We enjoyed her. The place had a real family feel about it. But the best part - wow - the food was really good with a homemade taste you can't beat. We just love this place and are glad we discovered it. It's a little ways from where we live, but worth the drive.

It was certainly decent quality food, but the service and the amount of time to make a couple of eggs overshadowed the taste of my food. The owner needs to do something about this asap. Perhaps the locals are used to it and will stay loyal, but if you are new in town or passing through and wanted something to eat, you may want to go elsewhere... this was one of my more disappointing food experiences. I have been looking for a great open faced roast beef for years, and found it here today! So good, and the fries were so crispy and yummy. Owner actually walked around to every table assuring that all was satisfied. Wish I had found this gem years ago, as I am soon leaving NJ. I must thank my dear friend Linda for taking me there. I will return before leaving NJ.

Outside of the food being delicious they will not hire black servers and there hasn’t been any in many years I know because I’m speaking from experience I have gone in there on several occasions for interviews with my recommendations from credible sources and prestigious restaurants! They have stated that they needed help immensely and they couldn’t operate on a regular schedule since it has been modified since Covid they will stay on a modified schedule because they will not hire any African-American workers for their business I have been a long-time customer here up until recently because I guess I confuse people being friendly with you with people being culturally accepting and that’s not the case!

my girlfriend and her friend went there to eat. they each had an omelet. they were spewing liquids out of both ends for 2 days. it has been 4 days and both of them still don't feel right. when she called to let them know that the food made them sick, the girl who answered said thanks for letting her know and nothing more. I then called and she said the owner would call me, i have yet to hear from him. they served food that almost sent two people to the hospital and couldn't care less. they had been going there for years and will now be looking for a new place. patron beware.

Visited this diner for the first time, located in a strip mall with adequate parking. The food was very good, we all ordered something different and each dish was a nice portion and we all enjoyed. I had the plain burger which was great and came on a Kaiser roll with cheese, lettuce, tomato along side fries, onion rings and cole slaw. Price are very fair and staff was awesome! I will be going again soon. Highly recommended!
