What is Keto Chocolate Mousse?
It’s a delightful dessert everyone will enjoy while eating keto or low carb. The light and airy texture is amazing. The chocolate flavor tastes so indulgent.
With only a few ingredients and no baking or egg required, it’s so easy to make.

- Heavy Whipping Cream
- Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- Granular Keto Friendly Sweetener – Granular Erythritol
- Vanilla Extract

Alternative sweetener options
- If the granular sweetener version is not available, you normally can find a powdered sweetener option.
- Another sugar substitute is liquid stevia.I haven’t tried it in this recipe before. However, I think it would work if you can’t find a granular erythritol options.
How to make keto chocolate mousse
Step 1. First, combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl for the keto mousse.
Step 2. Whip the heavy cream and chocolate mixture with an electric mixer. You can use a hand mixer or stand mixer until stiff peaks form. This takes about three minutes.
This low carb chocolate mousse is delicious topped with whipped cream, sugar free chocolate chips, dark chocolate or raspberries.

How to store?
Store any leftover Keto chocolate mousse covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days to chill. The mousse will loose some of it’s volume as it sits but the flavor will stay the same.
You can also freeze this mousse in a freezer bag or container for up to 2 months. When defrosting out the mousse, do not heat it up.
Just place it in the refrigerator overnight to allow it to defrost. Then whisk it together thoroughly to mix all the ingredients together.
How many carbs are in this recipe?
This recipe is approximately 1 gram of carbs per serving. This is why this recipe is perfect for a Keto diet. You can still satisfy your sweet tooth and not ruin your diet.
